APR Supply is a full service HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic distributor with over 40 locations throughout the mid-Atlantic. Despite being an early adopter in the industry and launching their first website in 1996, APR was struggling with customer adoption due to complex customer contract requirements, lack of internal sales support for eCommerce, and weaknesses in the content and usability of their current sites.
APR Supply brought in B2X Partners to assist them in reviewing their current approach and customer perceptions and provide strategic direction moving forward. From customer interviews and competitive analyses, B2X Partners developed a strategic plan focusing first on the area that APR had been struggling with: customer adoption, including the launch of an enhanced eCommerce site that would unify their current online presence.
As part of a larger program for eCommerce expansion, B2X Partners redesigned the APR Supply site, combining the vast amounts of service and product content from their static site with their extensive product catalog and transactional abilities.
